Scope and Contents This collection contains theses of Mercyhurst University history seniors concerning the Mercyhurst community, the city of Erie, and Erie County. Topcis included are agriculture, politices, history, religion, labor, education, and ethnic groups. Accompanying some of the theses are rough drafts, note cards, lists of people interviewed, finding aids, and professor comments. Some of the theses were printed in The Journal of Erie Studies.
Scope and Contents This collection consists of many of the speeches given by Sr. Carolyn over 15 years and several photographs depicting her time at Mercyhurst. A certificate of merit was presented to Sr. Carolyn by Mayor Tullio in recognition of her contributions to the city of Erie in such areas as religion, education, and culture.

Scope and Contents The St. Luke’s Collection contains seven letters between Reverend Robert D. Goodill of St. Luke’s parish and Mother M. Eustace ad Mother General Mary Clare, R.S.M. of Mercyhurst College. Earlier letters were concerned with the purchasing of land for the construction of St. Luke’s church and rectory. The area in demand belonged to the Mercyhurst College community. Later correspondence deals with the plans for the church’s stained glass window.
